Held on the 4th - 7th September 2014 at Centennial Park in Sydney, the Australian Garden Show was a 4 day event celebrating Australia’s love of gardens and outdoor spaces. The Show explored new ideas in gardening techniques and design, showcasing spectacular displays and a wide variety of lifestyle products.
Noula was commissioned by Circles of Learning to create & prepare a Snake Sculpture made out of polystrene foam wedges, to be placed into garden boxes planted by children. Each foam wedge was individually hand cut to shape and painted. And using glass tiles, a palette of 10 colour variations were cut and prepared, in which kids visiting the Show were given the opportunity to glue the tiles. Throughout the event, over 90 wedges were created and installed!
