On March 12th 2014, the 4 mosaic pavers that were assisted by the local community were installed into the Piazza. They depict an underwater scene, which complement the 2 fish benches. They were designed to sit at the cross-roads of the pavers, symbolising the four directions.

On June 7th 2013, the Piazza Eolie Project was officially unveiled by Mayor Angelo Tsirekas. Held at the Bay Room at Five Dock Library, members of the Aeolian Association, local council and community came together to celebrate the completion of the project.
A plaque with the story about the sculptural artworks was specially created and presented on the night, to show appreciation for nola's work and contribution to the Aeolian community. It will be displayed in the Piazza for the public to read.

noula diamantopoulos was commissed by the City of Canada Bay to create a public art sculpture project in Five Dock, NSW.
As an homage to the local Italian community, three sculptural elements were designed for the project, all inspired by the history and stories of the Aeolians.
As an entry-marker into the piazza, noula designed a sculptural fishing boat adorned with mosaic elements and an image of Eolie, the God of Wind. She also created two mosaic fishes, both 3 metres long and installed into cement benches.
Sydney-based sculptural artist Nigel Harrison assisted in creating the steel structures of the benches, and the cement element of the boat.
An additional element of the project was the involvement of the local community. 4 mosaic pavers featuring an underwater landscape were mosaiced by volunteers with the help of Kay Runcie and Maree MacDermid.
On March 22nd 2013, the installation process of the project began. Throughout the week, noula worked on-site and completed the mosaic elements of the boat sculpture. The boat is embellished with different coloured Mookaite stones, specially ordered from Western Australia.
